Bad Firmware. Go to your room

    Sennheiser has admitted that their v145 firmware is faulty. UPDATE: New Firmware Now Exists! Have the Customer update to firmware v147 or higher! 2ND UPDATE: Bad news friends. While v147 is generally better than v145, it has a weirdness where replacement mics won’t play nice with it. Firmware updates have been working to a certain extent for this issue. For more on that, see the “Ross’s (Untested) Disco Lights Solution” article. They have rolled out new firmware versions since, but if our Customer is on v145 that’s not good! There’s now an easy way to DOWNGRADE the firmware to previous versions, as long as you have the correct files to send them. If we don’t have a file, we can certainly request it from Sennheiser!
